Question: How do I look for electronic resources or online database available at Sarawak State Library?
Answer: The Sarawak State Library provides an OPAC to make it easier for users to search for electronic resources in PUSTAKA. The PUSTAKA OPAC can be accessed via the following link: [https://pustaka.librarynet.com.my/Angka.sa2/pustaka/OpacBasicSearch.htm?mobile=true]. Users who wish to access the online databases subscribed to by the Sarawak State Library must first register as members.
An electronic resource refers to a database that contains various types of information such as articles, journals, electronic books, newspaper articles, and more. These resources are categorized based on their type, subject, and alphabetical ordering, allowing users to easily search for and access relevant information.
These databases, often called “Electronic Resources,” allow people to search library catalog, journal articles, corporate financial data, and a wide variety of other data from an extremely diverse group of information providers, each with unique searching interfaces.
