Pustaka Negeri Sarawak holds ‘The Tower of Books Reading Challenge’

KUCHING : Good news to avid readers! Pustaka Negeri Sarawak will be holding its yearly reading campaign event themed The Tower of Books Reading Challenge starting 25  February, 2014. 


Aimed at
inculcating reading habits among the general public, specifically
schoolchildren, this programme is tailored to attract children’s
participation. 


The
challenge will be categorized into kindergarten (ages 4-6), primary
school (ages 7-12), secondary school ages (13-18) and adults (above 18
years old). 


In this challenge, participants are allowed to read fiction and non fiction books.


Each
participant, who takes up the challenge to read at least one book a
month, will be awarded a certificate of appreciation and consolation by
the Sarawak State Government. 


Those who are interested to participate in this challenge can submit their entries to Pustaka Negeri Sarawak.
