The event, which was part of the Knowledge Carnival and Innovation Day
celebrations organised by the library’s Sports and Recreation Club, even drew
fishing enthusiasts as young as 10.

Offering various prizes, it kicked off at 8am with contestants bringing not
one, but up to five fishing rods to try their luck at winning.

In the end, Razali Sebli emerged triumphant with his 2kg catch, earning him
the champion`s title.

Apart from `Lan Ngail`, other activities being held yesterday included a
blood donation drive, free health screenings, a flea market and exhibitions.
