Posted on 31 March 2010

Kuching - A book launch ceremony and book review session on Hornbill Flavours: To Know Sarawak Is to Love Sarawak will be held at the State Library on 31 March.  The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm at the Seminar Room. This book has 22 non-fiction stories written by local writers who are members of the Sarawak English Writers Association Northern Zone Sarawak (SOSWE).  The book offers a glimpse of the variety of life in Sarawak from "The longhouse that grew" to " What that smells?"  Each story by these local residents offers a different perspective on life in Sarawak.  The objective of this event among others is to encourage local writers to write as well to cultivate a general interest in the art of writing of any genre.
