Nur Syahida binti Ispawi is a 26 years old, born and raised in Miri, Sarawak. In 2019, she was hired by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak as Assistant librarian and currently serves under Acquisition Unit in Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu campus.

Early Life

She was born on 30th January 1994 in Miri, Sarawak. Born youngest in the family, she has three other siblings; three little brothers. Both of her parent are government pensioner.


Educational Background

Career

2011: Post SPM part time job

After SPM, she took up a part time job with Sugarbun Merdeka Mall, working in kitchen helper. Her salary was paid according to hour. She resigned from the position to further her studies.

2014: Part time job with Faberworth Trading

After STPM, she took up a part time job with Faberworth Trading, as a cashier. This experience taught her how to handle customers and take their requests into consideration which helped build her confidence in facing people.

2017 Internship at CAIS (Centre for Academic Information Services), UNIMAS

During completing her Bachelor's Degree, she became an intern student at CAIS, UNIMAS and learned about the library management that related with her education field.

2018: Miri Popular Book Co. (M) Sdn. Bhd.

She landed a job with Miri Popular Book Co. (M) Sdn. Bhd as their Retail Assistant cum Cashier. She enhanced skills in customers services and dealing with suppliers.

2018 - present: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu

Throughout 2019, she went through the recruitment process by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak where she attended the preliminary exams and attended one interviews before landing the assistant librarian post for Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu. Reported for duty on 1st November 2019, she was appointed as a staff under Technical Services Division, the Acquisition Unit.
