Kapit Public Library, officially known as Kapit District Council Public Library is a library established, resourced and maintained by the Kapit District Council to cater for the information of users in Kapit district. It has its headquarter in Kapit.

Brief History

Kapit District Council was formally formed in 1966, but the public library only came into existence in the early 1970s. It started a small reading catering for the needs of users in Kapit town.
