Nomination and Election

Employee Representatives are elected via ballots by the staff and they hold office for a term of two years. Prior to that, election candidates are nominated and top fifteen highest nominated candidates go to the poll. The maximum number of terms the Employee Representatives can hold office consecutively is two, which is four years.

At least one month before a scheduled MBJ meeting is held, the staff will be notified via emails to submit suggestions, comments and ideas to the Employee Representatives. These submissions will then be filtered and aggregated by the Employee Representatives before being formalised into proposal papers for the MBJ meeting.
