Finance Unit

The Finance unit is a unit under the Corporate Management Sector of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (Pustaka). Currently we are using esolusis Financial Accounting System (eFAS) to assist us in monitoring and maintaining our bookkeeping.

History

The Finance Unit was formerly established in 2000 under the Corporate Management Sector of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (Pustaka). Its initial primary functions were to manage and undertake the following tasks:
Budget preparation
Budget administration
Cost allocation
Accounts payable
Payroll
Fringe benefits
Grants administration
Contract administration
Accounts Receivable
Keep and maintain financial records and reports
Procurement approval of purchasing or services that is less than RM20,000.00
Since year 2001 until June 2016, the accounting system that we used was Standard Accounting Financial System (StAFS).

Former Staff

During its early development, one officer and three support staff managed and administered Finance Unit.

Paidi Amat Mokito pensioned in 2016 and Norafiqah Nabilah Julaihi is replacing him. After seventeen years with Pustaka, Ismewatti Narawi persued her career in other government agency. Flin Lovinia eventually replaced her in 2017. A few years later, Mohd Aidiq Aidi and Zaidi Mohd Nor were joining Pustaka until today.

Current Staff

As at today, year 2019 there are three support staff in Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri.

3.Pamella Gandang
Meanwhile, at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Sibu only have one support staff in the moment.
