Book Review

A book review is a form of literary criticism in which a book is merely described (summary review) or analyzed based on content, style, and merit. A book review may be a primary source, opinion piece, summary review or scholarly review. Books which had been reviewed will be uploaded in Pustaka's Social Media and website in order to promote the collection to public. Such a review may evaluate the book on the basis of personal taste. Reviewers may use the occasion of a book review for an extended essay that can be closely or loosely related to the subject of the book, or to promulgate their own ideas on the topic of a fiction or non-fiction work. Book review shall include:

  • Title
  • Author
  • Publisher
  • International Standard Book Number (ISBN)
  • Call Number
  • Review
  • Book Cover

New Arrival Book Review

New Arrival books at Pustaka will be selected and reviewed in order to be promoted on Pustaka social media and website. There will be minimum 20 titles reviewed monthly. New arrival book review will be promoted via Pustaka's social media, website and U-Pustaka. The titles will be selected based on:

  • Subject
  • Category
