The Learning and Knowledge Creation Division or LKC is one the Divisions under Pustaka Institute. It was formally established in February 2020 and directly under the purview of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer(Operations). It is one of the youngest Divisions in Pustaka.

Main Function

1) To hold seminars, courses, meetings and other similar events to promote the use of the library resources, or the information or data collected or maintained by the State Library or at its disposal. Reference to Section 3(h)SSLO 1999.
2) To publish, sell or distribute publications concerning or relating to public archives, or concerning the activities of and facilities provided by the State Library. Reference to Section 3(q) SSLO 1999.
3) To facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and information, the appreciation of the arts, culture, traditions, history and achievements of the State and its people. Reference to Section 3(j) SSLO 1999.
