Mohamad Aizat Bin Ajis is a Malay from Petra Jaya, Kuching in Kuching Division. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA with Bachelor of Information Science (Hons) Library Management.

Educational Background

He went for his primary education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulo (1999 - 2004) and received his secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St. Thomas (2005 -2009). Then he pursue his education with Universiti Technology MARA with Diploma in Information Management in 2010 and graduated in Bachelor of Information Science (Hons) Library Management in 2015.

Career with National Institutes of Health Malaysia

He got his job as an Assistant Researcher at National Institutes of Health Malaysia and involved in two national health survey: Survey on the Impact of E-Cigarettes among Teenagers 2016 and Survey on the Impact and Implementation of "Komuniti Sihat Perdana (KOSPEN)". There, he are responsible in conducting survey among the participant through interview and also questionnaire involving citizens and students in selected area of Kuching, Sri Aman, Miri and Lawas. He served with National Institutes of Malaysia from February - September 2016.

Career with Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC)

He served as Assistant Librarian for Library and Museum of Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) in November 2016 - January 2017. He are responsibles in managing the acquisition and reference based on request of the staffs and the Management of Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC). During the period, he participated in Benchmark Visit in Penang and Langkawi for learning and gained best practices for the museums: Galeri Perdana and Penang 3D Museums.

Career with Pustaka Negeri Sarawak

Appointed as Librarian for Archives Management Division on February 2017, he responsibles in managing the operational activities and functions of preservation on archives collections, conservation and repository management. He currently heading the Unit for Preservation of Archives Collections, Archives Management Division (2017-Current), Coordinator for Amalan Persekitaran Berkualiti QE/5S (2018-2022), Members of Committee Sustainable Development Goals: Content (2021-2023) and Members of Integrity Steering Committee (2021-Current).
