Nor Diana Nawawi

Born in 1986 in Kuching, Sarawak. Start education in SRK Gita, Kuching in 1993 for primary school and further secondary in SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuching. Two (2) weeks attended form 6 lower class in SMB St. Thomas before offered for Pre-commerce course in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2004. Completed Diploma in Information Management in 2007 and further in Bachelor Science (Hons) Information Studies major in Records Management from 2008 until 2010.

Experiences

First job attended was as an admin assistant in WTC Training Sdn Bhd in Kuching. Join Capacity Building for Graduates (CBG) in September 2010 and attached in Records Management Division of Depository Service Sector, Pustaka Negeri Sarawak. After one (1) year and four (4) months as CBG, appointed as Librarian (Contract) and still attach in Records Management Division. Finally, appointed JBC post as Librarian in September 2014.

Admin Assistant in WTC Training Sdn Bhd

  • Assigned to assist in administration work of the company*
  • Prepare invoices and preparing materials for courses to be conducted*
  • Duration of work was two (2) months*

Capacity Building for Graduates as a Trainee

  • Given responsibility to manage awareness programme of records management including enhancement of awareness materials which is for distribute for awareness programme*
  • The major experiences during trainee programme was given an opportunity to assist in preparation of international events which is known as InterPARES. The event was conducted in June 2011*

Librarian in Records Management Division

  • Officially hired as Pustaka Negeri Sarawak's staff on January 2012*
  • Continue current responsibility in Unit Promosi dan Kesedaran Pengurusan Rekod in Records Management Division*
