Sarawak State Library will hold its Customer’s Day from 10am to 6 pm on April 26-27 at Wisma Sanyan.
Among the interesting activities lined up for Customer’s Day are Online Database Literacy session, Free Library Membership Promotion, DIY Activities,
‘Born To Read’ Programme, Promotion on Makerspace Services: 3D Printing, Code for Kids Training, 3Doodler, MakeyMakey and Digital Photography.
There will be a demonstration on Files and Records cleaning, ‘Friends of Archives’ promotion, Legal Deposit awareness, promotion of Sarawak Authors Homepage, Sarawakiana Portal, E-Sarawak Gazette and the Archives and Records Management System (ARMS) website.
Apart from promoting the library services, Sarawak State Library is planning to open another branch in Sibu for which it will hold a building brief and survey of customer needs.
The public are welcome to the event. Those who register or renew their membership will receive exclusive gifts from the Library.
Lucky ones will also receive a mystery gift if they participate in the programmes and quizzes organised by the Library.
