Pustaka Negeri Sarawak in collaboration with US Embassy Kuala
Lumpur is organizing a workshop on Dyslexia and Effective Teaching Methods by
Dr Ong Puay Hoon, President of Dyslexia Association of Sarawak.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, 16th January 2016 from 8.30 am –
12.30 pm at the library’s Seminar Room.
The workshop aims to equip participants
with the knowledge and understanding of what dyslexia as well as signs and
symptoms of dyslexia and also the importance of early support in an affected child’s
learning. Other than that the speaker
will share on the effective teaching strategies for children with dyslexia.
Parents, teachers and other interested individuals are invited to participate
in this workshop. Admission is free however it is limited to 50 participants
only.
