Introduction

The Quality Unit is a unit under the Corporate Communication Division.

The tasks assigned to this unit are ;

Task Details

1.Assisting the Quality Management Representative (QMR) to implement and manage quality management system of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak

  • Assist the Quality Management Representative (QMR) in conducting ISO Internal Audit at least two times in a year
  • Assist the Quality Management Representative (QMR) in controlling the Quality ISO documents
  • Documents Controller - To make sure all Quality Procedures (QP), Work Instructions, Guidelines, Matrix are up-to-date in the Pustaka ISO System(PISO)[1]
  • Register the Document of External Origin in Master List of Document of External Origin and to make sure all documents are up-to-date.

2.Responsible to assist Head of Division (HOD) to develop, initiate and implement various quality initiatives in Pustaka Negeri Sarawak

3.Responsible as the secretariat to the Innovation Steering Committee

  • Compile all papers (decision and information) from all the committee and all papers to be circulated to all committee at least 3 days before the meeting date.
  • Taking minute for the meeting.
  • Meeting to be held at least two times in a year.
  • Assisting the Quality Initiative Committees (i.e. KIK, KFA, 5S, Innovative Audit, Innovative Day, etc) in carrying out their program/activities.

4.Secretariat to the Quality Awards Committee – Participation in state/national and international award

  • Assist the committee in participating the relevant awards (state/national/international)
  • Assist the committee in meeting the deadline given.

5.Secretariat to PUSTAKA Balance Scorecard

  • To make sure KPI(s) are updated before death line
