The Sri Aman District Council Public Library or the Sri Aman Public is managed by the Sri Aman District Council to cater for the information needs of users in Sri Aman Town and its surrounding areas.

Brief History

Sri Aman District Council Public Library or the Sri Aman Public was established in 1960’. Sri Aman District Council then was called Batang Lupar District Council. It's first building was situated just opposite the Hoover Hotel. Then it move to it's second building which situated at 28 Jalan Paya, Sri Aman in October 1980. The third and current building is completed in Jun 1997 and was open to public on 2 February 1998.
