This book is about the many ways of deterring pests or insects from our precious garden apart from telling us the types of common pests and what damages they can do. Through the numerous diagrams and pictures, the author shares with us some simple ways to control or get rid of the pests, both with natural pesticides and other toxic measures, including making traps. The author advised to get rid of infected pants or they will attract predators. They must be disposed of away from the garden area.
I enjoy gardening and I find this book very useful and handy. From this book, I derived a useful advice for myself, “destroy the pests breeding places and you won’t have to fight against them”. I also learn of certain plants that contain useful properties that can be used against pests and that, the earthworms and gardeners are good friends.
