Kuching - The yearly Pustaka Negeri
Sarawak `Lan Berambeh` Programme will be held in Kampung Tebakang from June 8
until 9.
Among the other exciting programmes to be held are Old Citizen Reading
Competition, `Born To Read` workshop, story-telling session, handmade crafts
with children, `Movie Night Under the Stars` movie screening (movie pack),
family telematch activities and 2013 Knowledge Camp Programme.
The programme aims to give opportunities to Kampung Tebekang folk to register
as members and make use of the Pustaka and u-Pustaka services besides providing
information about the services and resourceful activities offered by Pustaka
Negeri Sarawak.
Apart from that, students who join
the programme will get the chance to learn how to use information correctly and
methods to search for information effectively. During the two-day programme,
they will also get the chance to see Pustaka service exhibition `Born To Read`,
participate in the `Snake and Ladder`game and register as Pustaka and u-Pustaka
members.
This programme will end with
certificate and souvenir presentation to the winners, the participants of Old
Citizens Reading Competition and Knowledge Camp Programme by Pustaka Chief
Executive Officer, Japri Bujang Masli.
