My Favourite Read at State Library

My Favourite Read Program is an initiative of
Pustaka Negeri Sarawak to get as many people from all levels of the community
to share their favourite books with others. 
The objectives of the program are to inculcate in individuals the love
of reading, to encourage individuals to participate in reading programs and to
provide a common platform for information and knowledge sharing.  Usually the program will be led by a
moderator and a group of 2-3 persons that will share their favourite reads and
why they are passionate about the books. 
Every sharing session takes around 30 minutes.  This program is done on a quarterly basis in collaboration with
other agencies and institutions.

In this coming session, the public will be able to
hear three panelists share their favourite books -  Dr Jeniri Amir from Unimas, Encik Abang Haliman Abang Julai from
Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and Encik Razak Rambili from Pustaka Negeri Sarawak.

Members of the public are welcome and admission is
free.
